Ski Week 2010 - Champery, Switzerland
Another fantastic "ski week" in Champery, Switzerland with the Bezyak and Riley families! We were greeted with excellent snow and ski conditions to start the week - but also a bout of the 24-hour flu for Mommy and Devan. Daddy and Kellen avoided the sickness and survived ski school and the slopes of Portes du Soleil (spanning Switzerland and France). Devan was a champ at Kids Club (bunny slopes and fundamentals for the little ones) while Kellen received the silver medal in his class on the final race day. Kellen was also awarded his first ski school badge for completing the "Blue Prince" level (beginner!). We enjoyed many fine meals with our friends along with a last day of ice skating, with the whole skating rink to ourselves. We look forward to more skiing before the season is over!

Happy Holidays!
Joyeux Noel and happy holidays! The Swiss Lary's have thoroughly enjoyed year 2 of our adventures in Europe! It is amazing how quickly time flies! We hope you enjoy a few pictures highlighting our 2009 travels. We hope to capture many more exciting moments in 2010.
In September we ventured to Chamonix, France. But this time we ascended high into the French Alps to Aiguille du Midi, part of the Mont Blanc massif. This photo only shows the "halfway point," prior to boarding the world's highest vertical ascent cable car going from 1,035m to 3,842m with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc. Kellen and Devan enjoyed rock climbing and hiking on this beautiful, sunny day.
