Kellen turns 5!

Kellen and friends enjoyed a "Power Ranger" 5th birthday celebration at home today. Lots of fun for everyone! The highlight was a 'real' Power Ranger visit!

Mommy's birthday and more snow fun...

We celebrated Mommy's 39th birthday with a "Cars" cake no less! Kellen didn't think it was appropriate for a girl but it was all Daddy could locate on a whim. We enjoyed the "boy" cake anyway!

And there has been plenty of snow to play in over the past two weekends, first the French Juras then in our own backyard!

Ski Weekend in Champery, Switzerland

The Lary's enjoyed a first ski weekend of 2009 in Champery, Switzerland. A simple 90 min drive from home landed us in the largest international ski area in the world, linking 12 French and Swiss resorts. Saturday weather was excellent, but Sunday greeted us with high winds and closed slopes. Kellen and Devan had fun with their first Kids Ski Club. The Swiss do know how to ski, and we hope to have Kellen on the piste soon! We had a great weekend with friends and even got in some ice skating. Back again for ski-week in February!
