See you in Switzerland!
We arrived safely in Geneva! After a long week of packing, we've settled in to our [temporary] hotel accommodations in Geneva, Switzerland. The flight went smoothly, routing via Newark worked well for all of us - 4.5 hours from Portland to Newark, and 6.5 hours from Newark to Geneva. The boys enjoyed the in-seat entertainment systems very much! We arrived on time at 7:45 a.m. Unfortunately, Continental baggage was confused with our traveling cat, Bella, and we weren't able to retrieve her (via cargo warehouse) until much later that day. But, she was safe, calm and happy to see us! She has made herself at home here in the hotel and often tries to prowl the halls when the cleaners come through!

We spent the first few days of our stay just familiarizing ourselves with the area, catching up on sleep and enjoying the breathtaking scenery! The weather is much sunnier than we are used to!
